Description
Group of colorless calcite crystals covered by a second generation of flaky-looking, opaque white crystals. The crystals are intergrown with botryoidal groups of todorokite and other manganese oxides in a goethite matrix. This type of flaky and opaque crystallization is characteristic only of this mine, Mina Manolita (Minas Viejas), Sierra del Puntal, Cartagena, Murcia, Spain.
