Specimen details

Description

Interesting greenockite sample from the Berenguela mining district, Bolivia, showing an aggregate of intergrown, banded greenockite and sphalerite. Other species present include otavite, baryte, and galena. Formerly owned by Colonel Juan Delgado “Jhonny,” who was an executive at several Bolivian mines. Found in the 1960s
