1. Payment Methods (Buyers)
1.1 PayPal Payment Gateway
All payments on MineralBids are processed securely via PayPal.
✔ You do NOT need a PayPal account to pay
✔ You can pay using:
Credit or debit card
PayPal balance
Any payment method supported by PayPal in your country
PayPal acts as the payment processor only. MineralBids does not store card details.
2. When Buyers Must Pay
2.1 Immediate Payment Required
When an auction ends and you are the winning bidder:
Payment is due immediately
Orders must be paid in full before shipping
Unpaid orders may be cancelled or escalated
Delaying payment to wait for possible future auctions is not permitted.
This rule ensures fairness to vendors and keeps auctions running smoothly.
3. Shipping Costs & Multiple Wins
3.1 Automatic Shipping Calculation
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
If you win:
Multiple items from the same auction slot
From the same vendor
➡️ Shipping is combined automatically, where applicable.
4. Combining Shipping With Future Orders (Important)
MineralBids does not support holding unpaid orders to combine them with future auctions.
The rule is simple:
All orders must be paid in full, including shipping
Orders cannot remain unpaid while waiting for future wins
4.1 Example Scenario
1️⃣ You win an item
Shipping cost: €20
➡️ You must pay the item + €20 shipping
2️⃣ Two weeks later, you win another item from the same vendor
Shipping cost: €20
➡️ You must pay the second order + €20 shipping
3️⃣ You and the vendor agree to ship both items together
Actual combined shipping cost: €30
➡️ The vendor may issue a partial refund of €10
➡️ The vendor ships both items together
🔹 This arrangement:
Is handled directly between buyer and vendor
Takes place outside the MineralBids platform
Does not affect platform payment rules
MineralBids does not manage, enforce, or guarantee such arrangements.
5. Vendor Payment Rules
5.1 PayPal Account Required
To sell on MineralBids, vendors must have a PayPal account to receive payments.
5.2 Daily PayOut
If the customer has completed th payment
Vendor payout is sent within 24 hours
Vendor must ship the specimen(s) as soon as possible
MineralBids’ commission is automatically deducted before the payout
5.3 Delayed Payout
A delayed payout or no payout my occur when
Customer delays payment
Customer never pays or delays above the acceptable limits (2 weeks max) and the order is cancelled
Commission is deducted before payout
Vendors are encouraged add thei PayPal email to avoid delays.
6. Fees & Deductions (Reminder)
MineralBids’ commission is deducted from vendor payouts
Any applicable VAT on the commission is handled according to vendor status
Shipping fees belong to the vendor, not MineralBids
7. Failed or Delayed Payments
MineralBids reserves the right to:
Cancel unpaid orders
Suspend bidding privileges
Take action against repeated non-payment
