What a piece! Let me start with the story: These adamite were a shock to all us Greek collectors. The find has legendary status among us and took place in 2017. I had the privilege to be the first to be offered pieces from the pocket and this was once a bigger/ugly matrix with this wonderful ball of lime adamite on it. I bought it for 4 figures back then, took it back home, trimmed it and turned it into this wonderful adamite you see here!
The story goes on as I sold the piece to Crystal Classics back in 2018 as part of a bigger sale but I regretted it and bought it back a few months after! It kept it back into my collection until 2023 when I sold my personal collection (most of it) to the Arkenstone! Again, I regretted it and bought it back!!!!
Whoever gets this, will be as pleased as one can be by a Greek adamite, it doesn’t get any better, especially in this yellowish color tone. The “ball” is 1.8cm across and undamaged.
