Shipping Policy

How we ship

Our standard shipping method is the Greek post office (ELTA). We ship everything with a tracking number. Some countries (like Canada and Australia) do not support tracking updates though. Please check with your country’s post office about this issue. Upon request, we can ship using a courier. However, international courier services are quite expensive in Greece. Please contact us to get a quote for you.

Shipping Times

We try to ship out all orders within 3 business days. Packages shipped with our standard method usually take about 5-7 business days to arrive to their destination.

Insurance

To keep the cost of shipping low, we do not pay insurance to the post office. Insurance costs about 10% of the insured value. However, we will refund you in case your package is lost or your minerals arrive damaged.

How we pack

Each specimen is packed in its own unique way. It is in our best interest for the specimen(s) to arrive to you intact. We use a variety of materials depending on the nature of each specimen.

We will provide you with a tracking number for your order as soon as we ship it!

Custom fees/Delays

We have no responsibility on fees and/or delays by your country’s customs.

Shipping Costs

The costs are calculated automatically by the site and depend on your location and overall weight of items in your order.
*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR US CUSTOMERS: After recent changes in the US customs policy, our post office is yet to be able to ship items to the US. We currently use DHL express which is expensive (but very fast and reliable). Please check the costs before bidding and keep in mind that they increase for bigger/heavier combined shipments.

Refund Policy

We may accept a return and send you a refund for any of these reasons:

Lost package. Although very rare, it might happen. In order to claim a refund for a lost package, we need to have initiated a search via the post office first. The post office can accept such a request if 30 business days have passed with no tracking update of the package. After that, the post office attempts to find and deliver the package to you. After another 30 business days with no results, you are entitled to a full refund. If the package is found, then it will be delivered to you normally and you cannot claim a refund.
Specimen arrived damaged. If a specimen arrived damaged, it is our fault. To provide us with proof that a specimen broke during transit, you have to take a video with your phone while unsealing the box and unpacking it. We cannot refund you otherwise. You have to open the package within 24hours after its delivery.
You changed your mind (this does not apply to Auction items). You have 14 calendar days to change your mind about your order and return it. For this to be accepted by us, the package must have remained sealed. If you open the package and handle the specimen, you have to make sure that there is no damage caused by you on it. If there is the slightest damage on it, we will not accept a return and refund. All shipping costs (for the roundtrip) weigh the customer. Refunds are sent after we have received the specimen(s) back, intact and all shipping/customs costs are paid for by you.

You need to contact us first in order to initiate a return. We will then give you guidance on how to proceed.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

No exchanges are accepted. Items are sold at their price.

Cancellation is not possible after you won an item. Your bidding is a contract.
