Specimen details

Description

A group of slightly bluish, acicular celestine crystals on a crystallized siderite matrix. These old specimens come from the Mina Rica mining area, where the large gypsum crystal geode was discovered. This geode is now open to the public, and mining is prohibited throughout the area.
