Description
Cylindrite is a rare sulfosalt named after the unique cylindrical shape of the crystals. This superb specimen is richly covered on all four sides with much larger and thicker than normal, metallic-bright cylinders and hails from the much less well-known Trinacria Mine of Bolivia. This mine was famous as the most abundant producer of cylindrite specimens during the first half of the 20th century. Ex. Ing. Juan Delgado “Jhonny” Collection, found in 1960s
