Here is a wonderful specimen of the rare Falcondoite. Falcondoite is rare nickel and magnesium silicates found in a serpentinized harzbergite massif from an obducted ophiolite at a plate collision of oceanic crust with continental crust. The locality is in the Dominican Republic, which is the Type Locality for falcondoite, the mine is closed than 25 years ago.
