This exceptional fluorite specimen comes from the relatively recent Knappenloch discovery at Weißeck, Salzburg, Austria. The crystal displays an extraordinary range of colors, transitioning from electric blue through intense violet and deep purple to delicate turquoise shades. The transparency of the fluorite further enhances this spectacular color zoning, creating a true explosion of color within a single crystal. Material from this occurrence has gained considerable attention among Alpine collectors, and specimens showing such vivid and diverse coloration are particularly sought after.
