Specimen details

Description

Radial groups of very sharp and well-defined flattened prismatic Franckeite crystals with Zinkenite and possibly stanntite.
San José Mine, Oruro City, Cercado Province, Oruro Department, Bolivia. This deposit is the type locality for Franckeite.
Former Colonel Juan Delgado “Jhonny,” who was a director in many mining areas of Bolivia. Specimen found in the 1960s.
