Group of amethyst quartz crystals found in the Catón Mine in the vicinity of Llano del Beal, this town is next to the Corta San Valentín and Corta Sultana where the Mantos Azules deposit, very rich in galena, sphalerite and pyrite, was extensively exploited, already in Roman times this deposit was worked in search of Silver in the surface oxidation zone.
